• Purpose of the Software

  MTD 4 Income Tax is designed to help individuals, landlords, and businesses comply with HMRC’s Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self Assessment by:

  • Maintaining digital records
  • Submitting quarterly updates to HMRC
  • Completing End of Period Statements (EOPS)

  The software is HMRC-recognised and compliant with MTD regulations.

• Eligibility

  To use this software, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be authorised to manage tax data (your own or others’)
  • Have a valid HMRC Government Gateway account

• User Responsibilities

  You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep login credentials secure

  You are solely responsible for the tax data you input and the submissions you make.

• Intellectual Property

  All software code, branding, and documentation are owned by "MTD 4 Income Tax" and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or resell the software without permission.

• Subscriptions & Fees

  If your use of the software involves a paid subscription:

  • Fees are stated clearly at signup and invoiced accordingly
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension of access
  • Refunds are granted only where legally required

• Termination

  We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these terms
  • We are required to by law or HMRC
  • You request closure of your account

• Limitation of Liability

  We aim to provide reliable, secure, and accurate software. However, we do not guarantee that:

  • The software will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • It meets every user's individual tax needs

  We are not liable for any direct or indirect loss or tax penalties resulting from use or misuse of the software.

• Data Protection

  Your personal and financial data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and in compliance with UK GDPR and HMRC standards. We do not sell or misuse your data.

• Changes to These Terms
